Parade Season is Here
Your Guide to Three Towns, Three Festive Shows
By: Donna Doouss
The holiday season truly begins when the floats roll out and the lights turn on! Centre Wellington delivers spectacular spectacles across all three towns, making every weekend a chance to celebrate.
The parade season kicks off in style with the beautiful Elora Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 29th, at 6:15 p.m. Elora's parade is a dazzling evening affair, with floats and participants glittering under the stars—a perfect way to ring in the season! This is a free event for the whole family to enjoy.
Then, the focus shifts to Fergus and Belwood on Saturday, December 6th. Start your day in Belwood for a hearty, festive meal! The annual Belwood Lions' Breakfast with Santa is a beloved community tradition. The Belwood Lions Club hosts this event, which is the perfect way to warm up before the main parade event in the afternoon.
Finally, head to Fergus for the highlight of the afternoon: the Fergus Santa Claus Parade! Starting at 1:30 p.m., this traditional float and walking parade winds its way through the downtown streets. Remember to bring a non-perishable food item, as volunteers will be collecting donations for the local food bank along the route.
